Day 26 of the challenge is: A Song That You Can Play on an Instrument

Being a drummer, piano player and guitar player, there are several songs that I can play on one instrument or another. Usually I just play chords, but this song I can do the tab to, and I was really happy when I learned it. It’s a really great song too.

Hey There Delilah – Plain White T’s

Day 25 of the challenge is: A Song That Makes You Laugh

This was a hard one. Not because there aren’t any songs that make me laugh, there are lots, but because I straight away picked the artist I was going to use, but couldn’t decide which song to pick. This man is incredibly funny, and AMAZING at the piano. I am so jealous of his mad skills XD. In the end I picked this one, purely because of the ninja line. Warning, he swears a bit… ok, maybe a lot.

Prejudice – Tim Minchin

Day 24 of the challenge is: A Song That You Want to Play at Your Funeral

This song has such a pretty introduction. I love this band, and I think this song is amazing. I don’t know if it’s completely funeral appropriate, but hey, it’s my funeral, so I get to choose. 🙂

Wicked Man’s Rest – Passenger

Day 23 of the challenge is: A Song That You Want to Play at Your Wedding

I think this song is really cute, cheery,  fitting for a wedding, and, as proved by this film, great to dance to. I sang it on the karaoke with my boyfriend at my birthday party too. 🙂

Don’t Go Breaking My Heart (Originally by Elton John and Kiki Dee) – From Ella Enchanted

Is it wrong that I really like the Jesse McCartney and Anne Hathaway version of this song?

Day 22 of the challenge is: A Song That You Listen To When You’re Sad

This song is great when you are in one of those moods where you just need to listen to a pretty, but depressing song, so that you can wallow in your sadness.

Kiss Me Goodbye – Angela Aki

And yes, it is from Final Fantasy XII…

Day 21 of the challenge is: A Song That You Listen to When You’re Happy

This song is a recent addition to my music library, thanks to the post Christmas trip with our father. It is a very silly song, it is from an awesome TV show, and has one of my favourite characters (and actresses!) in it. I can’t help but smile when I listen to it 🙂

Birdhouse in Your Soul – Kristen Chenoweth and Ellen Greene (from Pushing Daisies)

Oh, and just so you know, it’s Kristen Chenoweth who’s my favourite, not Ellen Greene…

Day 20 of the challenge is: A Song That You Listen to When You’re Angry

This song is great if you want to have an angry rant in song form. Any song that involves fire is a win in my book 🙂

Picture to Burn – Taylor Swift

Day 19 of the challenge is: A Song From Your Favourite Album

To make it easier for myself, I decided to go for the first album I thought of that I really like all of the songs to. This album only has 7 songs on it, but they are awwwwwesome. This is by far my favourite. Not only is it my favourite character singing, but it is a generally amazing song 🙂

Touch a Touch a Touch a Touch Me – Glee Cast (from the Rocky Horror Glee Album)

Due to the fact that wordpress wouldn’t let me post yesterday (grr) and Facebook wouldn’t load properly (double grr), I couldn’t do my song challenge, so I am doing both days today.

Day 17 of the challenge is: A Song That You Hear Often on the Radio

I don’t really listen to the radio, and certainly not enough to hear a particular song often enough it is worth noting. However, when I used to have a radio as my alarm clock, Signal One (that was the only station I could appear to pick up) would play this every morning.

Bleeding Love – Leona Lewis

Day 18 of the challenge is: A Song That You Wish You Heard on the Radio

I picked this song basically because I think it is awesome, and more of the world should listen to it.

Paradise by the Dashboard Light – Meatloaf

Day 16 of the challenge is: A Song That You Used to Love But Now Hate

When I was younger, Liberty put a load of songs on a CD just for me to listen to. I loved that CD. I used to listen to it all the time. A lot of the songs I still listen to, but this one I don’t really like to anymore. It’s not so much that I hate it, I just get a bit bored listening to it.

Toy Soldiers – Martika
